Masumi Hashiguchi

Chief Risk Officer - (Executive Team & Board of Directors)

Masumi joined Lloyd's Europe in 2019, and in 2021-2023 led the Operational Risk Management team with the last year serving as interim Chief Risk Officer. With roots in Japan and Singapore Masumi has international experience in financial services, having started in asset management operations at Goldman Sachs in Singapore before moving to insurance, overseeing enterprise risks for AIG's P&C business across its offices in APAC. She has since held transversal roles in risk management leading the design, implementation and embedding of risk frameworks in Life and Non-Life insurers. She holds an Institute of Risk Management qualification in Financial Services Risk Management and speaks five languages, including Dutch.
