Dawn Miller

Chief Commercial Officer and CEO of Lloyd’s Americas (Board of Directors)

Dawn joined Lloyd’s in 2022 and oversees Lloyd’s global network across the Americas, Asia Pacific Middle East & Africa (APMEA) and European Regions. She is responsible for our Global Network governance, market development, strategic engagement with key trading partners, and New Entrants into the Lloyd's Market. She also leads on Strategy & Innovation at Lloyd’s, including the Lloyd’s Lab and Academy, and is a director of Lloyd’s Insurance Company in Europe. More recently, Dawn Miller has been appointed as Chief Commercial Officer of Lloyd’s and CEO of Lloyd’s Americas, delivering both roles from New York with effect from 1 September.

Dawn has over 25 years of experience working in the global insurance industry with oversight of underwriting, distribution, clients, and strategy, including leadership positions at CHUBB, AXA, AIG and WTW. Having started her career in Washington D.C., Dawn has since taken on senior positions in London, Houston, New York, Paris, Dubai, San Francisco, and Zurich.

Dawn is chair of the Board of Trustees for the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation UK (IICF UK), part of the Leadership Council for Maths4Girls and a member of the Executive Council of the International Insurance Society (IIS). She is also the Vice Chair of the Deans Advisory Board at the American University, School of International Service, a member of the Advisory Committee at MAPTYCS and the British American Business Council as well as a member of the Overseers Board at the Greenberg School of Risk Management.
