Country Manager for France, Monaco and Luxembourg

Guy-Antoine de La Rochefoucauld

Guy-Antoine de La Rochefoucauld has spent his entire career in insurance primarily serving customers and development, both as a reinsurance broker, direct insurance broker and as an insurer. Since December 2009, he has been working as the Lloyd’s Country Manager for France and Monaco and recently Country Manager for Luxembourg. This is somewhat of a return to Lloyd’s. Indeed, having started his career in London as a reinsurance Lloyd’s broker at Willis in 1983, he created in 1990 in Paris, at the request of Lloyd’s Syndicate, the Sturge agency, an underwriting entity. From 1994 to 1998, Guy-Antoine de La Rochefoucauld joined the broker Faugère & Jutheau (Marsh ) before taking over the Commercial and development division in France of AIG. After two years at Gab Robins (Cunningham & Lindsey), in 2004 he joined HSBC Insurance Brokers to create an HSBC entity in France. Guy-Antoine de La Rochefoucauld did his university studies in Geneva (Economic & Finance) and is member of CHEA and qualified ARM. He is also a member of the board of the FBCCI (Franco-British Chamber of Commerce & Industry).
