Nicole Verheyen

Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee and member of the Recovery Committee (Board of Directors)

Nicole Verheyen has been appointed Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee and member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee of Lloyd’s Insurance Company. Nicole has more than 20 years insurance industry experience in providing assurance services as accredited auditor and qualified actuary at EY. As Financial Services Audit Partner at EY, Nicole has built up extensive experience in the audit of insurance companies and pension funds. Thanks to various expert and management roles in the insurance industry, Nicole has gained a broad experience in financial and actuarial reviews, insurance regulation, insurance brokerage and strategic decision making.

Nicole is currently the CRO at MIRIS and a Partner at Triple A - Risk Finance Belgium. She is also an independent board member at Premia Insurance Europe and IBP BRABO. Furthermore, she is an independent board member, Chair of the ARC and an internal audit key function holder at The West of England Ship Owners Mutual Insurance Association (Luxembourg). Lastly, she is a non-executive director at the Institute of Actuaries of Belgium and a director at Colfinac.
