George Papagalos

Chief Operations Officer (Executive Team)

George has over 15 years of experience in the insurance sector, having held senior management positions in operations and IT functions both within and outside the London Insurance Market. In 2018, he joined Lloyd’s to assist in establishing the post-Brexit European operation in Brussels. In 2025, George was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Lloyd’s Europe. In this role, he oversees insurance operations, IT and security, data governance, and change management.
